The alcohol boils off of baked or boiled foods and liquids, even gummies. The sweetened taste of the liquor chosen and color remains.
I make these with real liquors, whiskey as well as brandies and wines. There is NO WATER ADDED. There have to be made in very small batches to get them to harden well, but I think they are worth my time I ship them in double sealed barrier air tight double sealed packs so they stay fresh and if you need them as a special gift for someone, just let me know.

The candy is candy and will have no effect on the mind, other than the enjoyment of a custom made candy made just for you. Even though they are safe for children to eat, I personally make an effort to not promote them to the young.

A Yes they do and they should be refrigerated upon arrival.
Q. How long do they stay fresh after arrival?
A. At least 5 days refrigerated in the bottom drawer. The thicker petaled flowers such as roses will keep for 5 to 8 days.
Q. How are they delivered?
A. Usually by Fedex and there isn't deliveries on Sundays or Mondays!
